Using your device
If you encounter an emergency situation, simply press and hold the panic button on your Apartment Guardian device for 3 seconds, or until you feel it vibrate. Your device will then dial 911 and connect you with emergency services.

How do I charge my Apartment Guardian device?
To charge your device, connect the cord to the charging stand, plug it in, and place the device in the charging stand.
If you prefer, you can use the magnetic charging cord to plug your device in directly, just like you would with a cell phone.
How do I turn on my device?
On the side of your device, press the button with a picture of a phone. You will see blue and/or green lights blinking to indicate that the device is on.
How do I know when my device is done charging?
A blinking red light on the charging stand indicates that your device is charging. When it’s fully charged, the light will be solid.

What does it mean when the lights on the side of the device turn off?
To preserve battery life, your device will sometimes go into power-saving mode, and the blue or green lights will turn off. But don’t worry, your device is still active! If you hold down the panic button for 3 seconds to activate it, the device will automatically turn back on and connect you with emergency services.
When the device is in power-saving mode, you can also press the power button again to wake it up.
